Because it’s just not right

ok. i am NOT trying to promote my religion. i just feel anger at so many injustices in the world.

1) why is it whenever a crime is committed by a muslim, they highlight the fact that he/she is muslim but for all the thousands of crimes, rapes, killings, done by christians/jews/hindus/buddhists it never or rarely is highlighted?

i am not racist. i have friends who are christians/aetheists/buddhists and they’re all good people

2) I’m lucky to live in a country with such racial, religious tolerance and its extremely unfair that the muslims who live in muslim goverened countries (i’m not saying all of them are like that) actually have no freedom of speech, no voice, are visited by the police army and questioned about who they speak to and what they talk about.

i’m not saying all muslims are good. people have a way of twisting things. that’s the fault of humanity.

3) the post before this describes what i mean. about how these so called muslims can twist the words in the holy book and scream out jihad like its the most righteous thing in the world. Jihad is never about killing innocents. it is never about just “killing someone from another race because they don’t believe in Islam.” No. How can u condone what Osama bin Laden did? How can u condone someone who plots to kill innocent people? And also, how can u label all muslims the same as him when i dont label christians as serial killers or whatever?

4) it’s extremely sad that the media has shaped our perception of who and what is right and wrong. But how come they’re not lending their voices to those who need it instead of those claiming lives, burning flags and holy books? Those muslims who are killed by their government for speaking out of order? for wanting that freedom? Those non-muslims who have a say about how muslims should be treated? who see what i see?

i’m a far from perfect muslim. but i stand by what i believe in. peace and justice. not in how terrorists claim jihad, but just to right what was wrong. i wish i can do more, but i can’t. i just want someone with power to be able to make a difference
